Some Emerging Telecom Business Issues - A Personal Observation

Abstract
Driven by the technology innovation and the evolving forces of market, different business issues are emerged over time in the telecom service industry. In Dr. Mao’s seminar, he is going to give his personal view on some of the recently emerged telecom business issues. The subjects include: Fixed network, broadband service and LCD TV; multimedia service and content delivery; VOIP: Fax machine model vs. P2P-IM+ model; mobile service beyond voice; WiFi, 3G and Fixed IP Network; Telecom organization and fixed-mobile integrated service.
