Telcordia Technologies Applied Research

MIDNIGHT SEMINARS

Midnight seminars cover a broad range of topics such as telecommunications, computer science, applications, and other important problems. Talks are not limited to technical issues but also deal with interdisciplinary and intellectually challenging material. The seminar series is different from other Applied Research talks and presentations; it is open to external attendees, more forward-looking and of broader scope. Suggestions for talks are welcome.

Motivation

  • Foster cross-fertilization and collaboration on important research topics among researchers in Telcordia, and facilitate interaction with researchers working outside Telcordia.
  • Expose researchers to important problems that may lie outside their primary area of investigation.
  • Encourage publishing by collaborating with each other and with other researchers in the community.
  • Create a fun-working research environment, and remind us that research is a 24x7 job.
