My Department:

We are a multidisciplinary research department concentrating on Software Engineering, E-Commerce, Multimedia applications and Data Mining. We use a holistic and integrated approach, focusing on information extraction, analysis and services. Our software engineering activity concentrates on building complex software required in these activities an other Telcordia products.

Career Highlights include:

• Initiating and leading the research that resulted in commercial products for Telcordia Software Systems and consulting ware for Professional Services in Software Engineering, Data Mining and Marketing areas.
  
• Originating research programs that reduce cost and create new lines of business. E.G. Y2K testing, Software Process, Software Testing, Risk Analysis and Data Mining.
  
• Working with the NRC to analyze the risk analysis of the Challenger disaster. This resulted in the creation of Telcordia's network risk analysis business and NASA's risk analysis group.

Recent Projects include research on:

• E-commerce in the telecom marketplace.
  
• Testing (test automation, GUI and Web).
  
• Rule-based systems and agents.
  
• Assessment methodologies for software processes (CMM, SPICE)
  
• Defect analysis
  
• A prediction tool for market penetration of new products.
